I’ve known God for the last 25 years. I remember
that, before then, I felt something was missing; I was empty
inside. I have to admit that, for most of the time, I didn’t know how to hear
God’s voice. It was then (as of February 2017) that I found out I can talk
to Him any time I want. I’ll describe some of my personal experiences
in the hope that it might help other people to hear God’s voice and to know Him
more intimately.
Every journey has a beginning. Mine began with a
quiet hunger—a sense that there must be more to God than what I
was experiencing. I had grown up surrounded by parent’s love and faith,
taught to attend church, to be “good.” These early experiences shaped my
understanding of God, offering a foundation of truth, but if I’m honest,
they often felt more like routine than relationship.
There was a point when I could no longer ignore the restlessness
inside. I started asking deeper questions: Is this all there is? Is God still
speaking? Is it possible to truly know Him, not just know about Him?
These questions led me beyond the boundaries of my comfort zone and
opened a door to a life I hadn’t imagined—one marked by the presence of the
Holy Spirit.
The first time I truly encountered the Holy Spirit, I
wasn’t expecting it. It wasn’t during a grand conference or a dramatic altar
call. It was in a simple moment of prayer when I was alone and honest
before God. What followed was unmistakable: a sense of love so
overwhelming it moved me to tears, a peace that seemed to settle into my
bones, and a presence that felt more real than anything else I had ever
known.
That moment marked a turning point. It wasn’t just
emotional; it was transformational. For the first time, I realised that
God wasn’t distant or indifferent. He was near. He was personal.
He was pursuing me. The Holy Spirit didn’t just fill a room—He filled
me.
I was baptised in the Holy Spirit in my mid-20s. I
started speaking in tongues, not even knowing what this was. Then I
joined a Christian group and became more active in my local church. Both
reading the Bible and praying became my routine for at least a
few minutes pretty much every day as my faith and understanding
of who God is developed.
There were ups and downs – probably more downs, as I
was going through some personal life challenges related to marriage
breakdown – but I never lost my faith. It has been just over a year
since I started going to HTB church in London, and I knew God brought me
there to grow my spiritual fellowship with Him. At that time, I used to
spend around 20 minutes in the morning and also in the evening with God, praying
and reading the Bible, but the reading was very often without depth
and understanding, just like reading a text.
As I reflect on that season, I can see that the Lord had
been drawing me long before I noticed. It was like waking up after years
of slumber. The same Scriptures I had read countless times began
to come alive. Prayer changed from monologue to dialogue.
I no longer simply performed faith; I was beginning to live it.
There’s a passage in Jeremiah 29:13 that says, “You
will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” That promise
proved true in my life. As I sought God—not out of obligation, but with a heart
genuinely longing to encounter Him—He met me, again and again. Each
time, He drew me deeper into His love and grace.
This journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been
doubts, dry seasons, and disappointments. But even in
those moments, I’ve come to recognise His presence in the silence, His guidance
in the waiting.
The journey to encounter is not about chasing experiences;
it’s about pursuing relationship. It begins with hunger, but it
continues through surrender. And for me, that journey changed
everything.
Chapter 2: Experiencing God’s Presence
Following the initial hunger to know God more deeply,
I realised that attending Sunday services alone was not enough. I knew I
had to go deeper if I truly wanted to encounter the living God.
So I joined Connect Groups and GIM (Growing in Ministry)
alongside my regular church attendance. These steps began to cultivate an environment
in which God could move in new and powerful ways in my life.
My first supernatural experience came during the Healing
Conference with Chuck Parry in March 2016. At the time, I had been
experiencing gradually increasing pain in my hip, which had begun to
affect my walking. During a short prayer, the pain vanished
immediately. It was extraordinary. That miraculous healing marked
the beginning of something far greater. Soon after, I joined the HTB Healing
Ministry and began witnessing God healing others regularly. I came
to understand that God not only wanted to heal me—He wanted to use me to
heal others. I experienced another personal healing, this time in my
knee. The revelation that God desired complete healing for
people—body, soul and spirit—burned within me.
It was at that same Healing Conference that I had my first spiritual
vision. God showed me the fullness of His presence and His love
for me. I felt a hand touch mine, and the overwhelming Presence of God
consumed me. In that moment, every earthly desire and need seemed to fade away.
I felt the weight of divine love—immeasurable, unchanging, and powerful
beyond all comprehension. God revealed that even if I were the only person on
Earth in need of salvation, Jesus would still have come, suffered, and
died for me. It was a love like no other.
A few months later, during a Connect Group Leadership
meeting, I realised I had the gift of prophecy. I began receiving visions
and messages for those I prayed for—even people I had never met,
including world leaders like the UK Prime Minister and US Presidents.
Later that year, I joined Salvo (GIM), which
dismantled some significant spiritual blocks between God and me. I met
people whose anointing accelerated my spiritual growth. One of
the HTB pastors once prayed for me, and the intensity of the Spirit's presence
was so strong I couldn’t bear the weight of his hand on my shoulder.
Being part of communities like the Furnace and the Tuesday morning
prayer at HTB deepened my experience of God’s tangible presence.
At a session of the School of Theology at St
Mellitus College, Bishop Graham Tomlin prayed for the Holy Spirit,
and again I felt His presence in an overwhelming way. Around that time, God
began to speak to me about Mozambique—an unexpected calling,
given my concerns about travel outside Europe. He gave me names like Heidi,
and as I searched online, I found Iris Ministries and was accepted to
attend their Harvest School. I received a scholarship, a clear
sign of divine provision, even though I hesitated and didn’t act.
In further visions, I asked God to take me to the spiritual
realm. I saw Jesus on a cloud, then found myself in a stream of light
particles cleansing my body. Jesus welcomed me at the door of heaven
and led me before His throne. Surrounded by multitudes of angels
singing “Holy Jesus,” I was called to stand beside Him. Overwhelmed by self-doubt,
I began to disappear, only to return as I rebuilt my faith. I realised
my journey would require boldness and trust.
Since November of that year, I began spending long hours
daily with Jesus, reading Scripture and praying. Concerned
about neglecting my business, I asked Jesus, “What do You think?” He responded,
“Lubos, trust Me. Build your faith. You’ve relied on yourself too
long. I love you, but I need you to trust Me fully.”
Through this, I began to understand that my dependency
on money and human approval had to give way to complete reliance
on God. As it says in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” I recognised
that faith holds everything together and that without it, things fall
apart.
In another vision, Jesus affirmed that I had many gifts,
the greatest being the ability to discern hearts. He called me to work
more with people, serving and developing those gifts—not
simply sitting behind a computer.
Experiencing God’s presence has not only transformed
me—it has commissioned me. It is not about chasing spiritual
experiences, but about allowing God’s presence to shape who I am and
how I live. These encounters have fuelled my faith and set
me on a course of deeper surrender, intimacy, and service.
Chapter 3: Visions and Revelations
As my spiritual journey deepened, the Lord
began to trust me with more specific visions—revelations not just
for myself, but concerning the Church, the city, and even the continent.
One such vision became a defining moment in how I understood my calling
and the role God was preparing me for in the broader spiritual landscape.
In one particular vision, God showed me a great movement
beginning in London. I saw it rising like a flame in the heart of
the city and then spreading across the United Kingdom and
sweeping over the rest of Europe. The vision was vivid and
powerful. It wasn’t just a picture—it carried divine weight. The Spirit
impressed upon me that God was giving me London to intercede for,
to stand in the gap, and to fight for spiritually. The
city had been entrusted to me in prayer and in spiritual
warfare.
In the same vision, I saw that some of the strongholds
in London—especially financial ones—were going to weaken.
This weakening seemed to be a catalyst, creating space for a spiritual
awakening to take root. The collapse of certain systems or securities
would open people’s hearts to the gospel and prepare the ground
for revival. What had long seemed immovable would be shaken.
Jesus then asked me a direct question: “Do you want
to be part of it?”
Although I sensed the significance of the invitation,
I wasn’t entirely sure what “part of it” entailed. The magnitude of what
He was showing me was overwhelming. I remember asking Him gently, “Lord,
could You explain a bit more? Or could You confirm this through one of Your prophets?”
In His faithfulness, He did exactly that. Just a few
days later, God led me to a church that had been established by prophetess
Sharon Stone. When I shared the vision I had received, someone
nearby played a prophetic word that had been recorded earlier. As I
listened, I was stunned—the prophecy confirmed almost word for
word the vision I had seen. It spoke of a spiritual revival
beginning in the UK and flowing across Europe, just as I
had witnessed.
That confirmation filled me with awe. It was
deeply encouraging to know that the voice I had heard was indeed
the Lord’s—and that He was speaking to me as He does to others
with prophetic callings. It strengthened my faith, affirmed my spiritual
sensitivity, and drew me into even deeper intimacy with God.
Through prayer, reflection, and further visions,
I came to understand the depth of the calling God was placing on
my life. It was not only a personal mission—it was a commission
for a larger purpose. I sensed that God was calling me into full-time
ministry, and that the role would require a heart open to every
expression of His Church.
He gave me a very clear instruction: to be “the most non-denominational
I can be.” Those words struck me profoundly. I believe God is building
something that transcends human categories and denominational lines.
His Spirit is moving across all His people, and my part is to serve
His Church as a whole, not a particular stream or tradition.
This chapter of revelation marked a turning point.
It wasn’t just about experiencing God’s presence anymore—it was about hearing
His heart for cities and nations, and accepting the responsibility
that comes with that kind of vision. It required obedience, humility,
and bold faith.
What began as a personal desire to encounter God
had now evolved into a divine assignment—an invitation to step
into His plans for revival and transformation, starting from London
and stretching across the nations.
Chapter 4: The Call to Ministry
In the unfolding journey of encountering God and responding
to His presence, a deeper sense of calling began to emerge—one that went far
beyond personal transformation. As I spent more time in prayer, worship, and
meditation on God’s Word, the Lord began to reveal a greater vision: a divine
commission that connected the personal with the global, the spiritual with the
practical.
One of the most powerful visions I received was centred on bringing
Heaven to Earth, starting in London, then rippling outward across
the United Kingdom and Europe. In this vision, I saw the
spiritual atmosphere of London shifting. The heavens opened, and God’s glory
began to descend, not only in isolated places or churches, but across the city
itself. From there, the outpouring of the Spirit expanded like a wave, touching
the wider nation and spreading into neighbouring countries. It was a vision of
transformation, renewal, and revival—a foretaste of God’s kingdom manifesting
on Earth.
With this vision came a clear and personal calling. I sensed
the Lord commissioning me to contribute towards achieving a Church that lives
and moves in the fullness of God’s presence, where unity of the faith
is not just an ideal but a lived reality, and where the personal holiness
of believers forms the foundation for powerful, Spirit-led ministry. This was
not a superficial unity, but a deep and sacred harmony, grounded in truth,
humility, and love.
This calling became more than a distant hope; it became a
burning conviction. I realised that God was not only showing me what He wanted
to do—He was inviting me to play a part in it. More than that, He was
equipping me with the necessary spiritual gifts to carry out the vision. I
did not seek these gifts for their own sake, but I recognised them as tools for
the work ahead.
At present, I feel especially called and gifted as an intercessor.
This has become one of the primary expressions of my ministry. In prayer, I
feel the weight of cities, nations, and individuals. I have begun to receive prophetic
visions, sometimes about places or people I’ve never met, and they often
come with a clarity that can only be attributed to the Holy Spirit. Another
spiritual gift that has become increasingly evident is the discernment of
hearts—a profound sensitivity to the spiritual condition and inner motives
of others, not for judgement, but for prayer, encouragement, and guidance.
This season of preparation has involved not only recognising
these gifts but also renewing my faith and commitment to God in a very
intensive way. It has been a time of consecration, surrender, and growth.
The Lord has been calling me to live more intentionally, to carve out space for
deeper intimacy with Him, and to remain open to His refining work in my life.
He is forming in me the character and resilience needed to carry the calling He
has placed upon me.
I do not claim to have all the answers, nor do I see myself
as fully ready—but I do trust the One who calls. My heart is set on obeying
Him, on becoming a vessel through which His presence and purposes can be
revealed. The journey ahead may be long, but I believe it is grounded in God’s
will and empowered by His Spirit.
This is the call to ministry I have received—not one based
on position or title, but on presence and obedience. A call to help build a
Church that carries His glory, reflects His unity, and walks in personal
holiness. A call to bring Heaven to Earth, starting right where I am.
Chapter 5: Growing in Faith and Obedience
The journey of encountering God does not stop with
revelation—it invites transformation. What began as hunger for more of Him led
me deeper into a season of intense refinement, where God continued to shape,
mould, and call me into greater obedience and faith.
One of the most profound spiritual experiences I’ve ever had
was a vision in which I saw myself sacrificed on the cross with Christ.
I felt the pain—spiritually—of every nail piercing my hands and feet. It wasn’t
just symbolic; it was deeply tangible in my spirit. This encounter tore away
layers of self—desires, worries, and fears that had once quietly ruled parts of
my heart. In that moment, something shifted permanently. I understood what it
meant to offer my body as a living sacrifice. I placed my entire being
on the altar before God and surrendered control, choosing to let Him lead
completely. I sensed the Holy Spirit growing within me—not as an abstract
presence, but as a real person residing in my heart, guiding my thoughts and decisions.
As Scripture says:
“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives
in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
That verse became more than words to me—it was reality.
I had stepped into the flow of God’s will, and I knew
I didn’t want to step out. It felt like a divine current, carrying me into
deeper places with Him. I learned that the more I submitted, the stronger that
flow became. It wasn’t always easy, but the reward was His presence. I knew if
I kept pressing forward, the current would take me even deeper.
By the end of January 2017, I had reached a place
where I could say with confidence that I had submitted 90% of myself to
Jesus. That remaining 10%, however, proved the hardest to surrender. It became
a place of inner struggle—like crossing the Red Sea with Egyptians pursuing
from behind and the unknown before me. Still, I pressed on, repenting of every
choice that had not aligned with His will. It felt like a cleansing fire.
On 30th January 2017, something extraordinary
happened. I attended a service at Catch the Fire (CTF) in Wembley, and
the senior pastor, moved by the Holy Spirit, preached on living in the flow
and full submission to Jesus. It was exactly what God had been dealing with
in me. That night, I reached a place I had never been before: 100%
submission. I felt the Holy Spirit fill me in a fresh and powerful way. I
can celebrate that day as a spiritual milestone in my life. Hallelujah!
From that point, I decided to start from scratch. No
more striving in my own strength. I would only do what Jesus told me to do,
when He told me. It was a radical shift in lifestyle and perspective. I began
fasting to refocus, although fasting hadn’t been easy for me. But the more I
trusted God, the more He proved Himself faithful. My faith increased.
I’ve come to realise that if someone truly wants to grow
spiritually, faith is the only way forward. Without it, nothing changes.
I sensed God challenging me to go even faster and deeper, to live in such a way
that extreme dependence on Him would become the norm, not the exception. This
lifestyle would become God’s opportunity to act through me—to do the
impossible through my surrender. It’s something I’m still growing into.
Those days became a time of giving up everything I was
attached to—my plans, ambitions, the desire for comfort. I laid it all
down. “God, I’m all Yours!” became the cry of my heart. I began to see
the beauty of what God was preparing. I had to surrender completely—to be
emptied of myself so I could become a vessel of the Holy Spirit. I had to crucify
my love for money, my own expectations for life, and my personal ambition.
Only then could I truly be free.
I heard Jesus say:
“Take up your cross and follow Me.”
And my response: “I’m willing to die to follow Jesus.”
In a conversation with God, I asked how I could be more
aware of His presence. He responded,
“Lubos, you can hear My voice, you can talk to Me, you can see Me in
visions. How much more do you want to be aware of Me?”
I replied, “To see You with my natural eyes.”
He answered,
“This is not something you would really want, as it might be quite
distractive. You have faith strong enough not to need it. People tend to take
it and many other gifts in the wrong way—as something they can do. It doesn’t
build our relationship. Just stay in My presence.”
That gentle correction was full of love and truth. I
understood that the most valuable thing I have is His presence and the
intimacy of our relationship. I now want to represent God on Earth with the authority
He has given me. I’m filled with joy to follow Him. It truly is an
adventure—the most exciting one I could ever imagine.
Chapter 6: Spreading the Fire
Every personal revival has a greater purpose. When the fire
of the Holy Spirit is kindled within one individual, it is never meant to be
kept to oneself. Revival is contagious. It is divine power designed to
overflow—to light up others, communities, and eventually, nations.
This final chapter turns the lens outward. After the journey
of surrender, faith, and obedience, what follows is the outward expression of
an inward transformation. The vision I received—that of revival beginning in London,
then spreading across the UK and into Europe—was never just about me. It
was God’s invitation to be part of something far bigger, something deeply
strategic in the spirit. It is about becoming a conduit of heaven on earth.
When God stirs the human heart, it is not only for personal
purification but for corporate transformation. He ignites the individual
to influence the collective. The fire that God has placed in me—this hunger for
His presence, this zeal for holiness, this unwavering faith—is not to be
preserved like a treasure hidden in the ground. It is to be shared, boldly and
freely.
Revival starts when one person says, “Yes, Lord,” and allows
their life to become an altar. But it spreads when that same person walks out
of the secret place with a torch in hand, ready to light others ablaze. I’ve
come to understand that revival is not only a moment, but a movement—a
divine rhythm that flows from one yielded heart to the next.
There’s a holy urgency in the air. A cry from heaven that
says: “Take what you have received and pass it on.”
This can happen through formal ministry, but also
through mentoring, or simply through our daily obedience and
faithfulness. Every Christian is called to be a carrier of revival, whether
they preach on a platform or parent at home. Every interaction is an
opportunity. Every relationship is fertile ground.
I believe this is especially vital in today’s spiritual
landscape. Europe has long been seen as spiritually dry ground, but I saw in
the Spirit that God is preparing to awaken it again. It starts in
London, a city of global significance, and spreads like wildfire—breaking
through old religious systems, apathy, and secular strongholds. It is not about
denomination or doctrine—it is about the raw power of God igniting
hearts.
You don’t need to have it all together to be used by God.
You just need a heart that says, “Yes.” Revival is messy, stretching, sometimes
misunderstood—but it is always worth it. When God uses a person set on fire,
entire communities begin to shift. Healing flows. Unity arises. Hope is
restored.
We are living in a time when God is calling His people to
rise—not just in word, but in power. It’s time to be bold, to be unashamed
of the gospel, and to represent Jesus with authority and compassion. We
are to be agents of change, carriers of His Spirit, representatives of His
kingdom.
If you’ve experienced even a spark of His presence, let it
grow into a flame. Feed it with worship, obedience, and prayer. And then—take
it out into the world. Speak truth. Love boldly. Pray with fire. Walk with
integrity. Live in such a way that people cannot help but see Jesus in you.
This is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a
movement. I believe God is raising up a new generation of believers who are not
content with religion, but are desperate for revival—people who live
surrendered, who walk in power, and who multiply that fire wherever they go.
So I say to you: stir up the gift of God within you.
Take what you’ve received and pass it on. The world is waiting. Europe is
waiting. And heaven is ready to back you.
Let’s carry this fire together—until every nation has seen the glory of God revealed.
Epilogue: Until Every Knee Bows
As I reflect on this journey—from hunger to encounter, from
brokenness to surrender, from visions to revival—I am reminded that this is
only the beginning. Revival is not a destination; it’s a lifestyle of
continuous yielding to the Holy Spirit. What started in a quiet hunger for more
has grown into a calling to contend for nothing less than the fullness of God’s
presence on Earth.
The vision I saw—a movement of revival starting in London
and spreading across the UK and Europe—is not mine alone. It is an invitation
from God to anyone who will listen. You are part of this story. If your heart
burns with even a flicker of longing, you are being called.
We were never meant to live ordinary lives of passive
belief. We are meant to carry heaven into every space we touch—our
homes, workplaces, cities, and nations. We are called to walk in power and
purity, in love and boldness, in faith and fire.
I don’t know where your journey has led you, but I do know
this: God is not finished. He is stirring hearts all across the Earth,
gathering a generation that will not bow to fear, comfort, or compromise. A
people who will live as if Jesus truly is King.
If you’ve made it this far in the book, then maybe God is
calling you, too—not just to receive revival, but to release it.
Let this be your commissioning.
Prayer of Commissioning
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with awe and gratitude—for the journey,
for the fire, for the calling. Thank You for every vision, every moment of Your
presence, every word You have spoken. Thank You for revival—first in me, and
soon, through me.
I offer myself now as a living sacrifice. Not my will, but
Yours be done. Purify my heart, ignite my spirit, and align my desires with
Yours. Let nothing in me resist the flow of Your Spirit.
Lord Jesus, You are my King. You are worthy of everything. I
choose to take up my cross, to follow You, to carry Your presence wherever I
go. I lay down my comfort, my fear, my plans, and my pride. Fill me with Your
Spirit. Empower me with boldness. Let my life point to You in every way.
Holy Spirit, anoint me to carry this fire. Make me an agent
of revival, a messenger of hope, a vessel of Your glory. Use my hands to heal,
my mouth to proclaim truth, my heart to love the unlovable. Teach me to walk in
power with humility and in faith with unwavering resolve.
I speak revival over my city, over this nation, and over
Europe. I declare that dry bones shall live again. I stand as an intercessor, a
warrior, a servant—ready and willing to go wherever You lead.
Let my life burn so brightly with Your presence that others
catch the flame. I am Yours, Lord. Use me. Send me.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
